From the moment that we meet the right recruiter to the point at which your new business can be legally compliant & trading is literally a matter of a few weeks. We have launched a business in 10 days before where we had full access to the recruiter – equally, it has taken months to complete all of the work necessary where our access was limited. Like everything else, there is no black & white answer to define the process of how it all gets done, but it is easy to offer some general observations. Typically, we start with an initial telephone call, which may last 30-45 minutes, during which we explain how our model relates specifically to your market sector and ask a few daft questions (nothing too formal). If all parties seem keen, we ask for the applicant to spent 20 minutes e-mailing us a little detail regarding motivation, markets, timescales etc Another ‘phone call is followed by an introductory meeting. This first meeting can take place anywhere and often ‘out of hours’. A couple of hours of conversation will usually leave everyone with enough information to make a judgement. We typically then go through the more formal process of reviewing the terms of the agreement which would exist between your new Company & SSG. Of course, you can refer to the Small Print section of the site for detail, but let us assure you that simplicity and brevity are the drivers of the document! This is all done via e-mail and the telephone. Once all parties are committed to the business and the paperwork is all signed, we then enter Phase 1 of our offering – the Launch Process. This is a tightly run process during which SSG will guide you through everything that needs to be done to have your business successfully launched. You will be assigned a SSG Project Manager who will liaise with you daily to keep you up to date with progress. This is an exciting and busy time during which you physically see the birth of the business – from business cards, web sites and logo’s through to Company formations, limited Company bank accounts and Vat registrations. You will need to spend time with us at our head office in Hertfordshire, meeting the team face-to-face and spending time with the creative guys to talk through your logo & web site. From that point, you can escape safe in the knowledge that you know exactly what is happening & who is doing what for your business. This personal familiarity is very important to SSG – we want you to know the team as individuals. Although it may seem a little daunting to think of the numerous steps that need to be taken, it is just like eating the proverbial elephant or driving in busy traffic – we are there to make it all come together and ensure that you feel 100% comfortable about the process. Launching a business may not be easy, but we have done this a few times!
